About the Author
I am a pastor’s wife, women’s ministry leader, worship leader, piano teacher and administrator for His purpose within our church body. I have been miraculously healed by our Lord from stage four cancer. I have a passion to point others to Christ and encourage them to deepen and strengthen a personal relationship with Him, by challenging the reader to dive into scripture, Biblical context and to sit at His table to talk with Him.It all started simply with a desire to explore God’s Word in a different way during my personal studies. As the Lord would lead every week, a specific scripture or concept would be the focus of my personal study. In the midst of a busy life and fast-paced world—marriage, family, home, ministry work, friends, and a career as a business executive and leader—I needed the Lord’s help in balancing my time with Him.
Honestly, I just wanted to slow down, maximize my time, commune with the Lord and take my time to hear from Him.I simply want to live a life by His Spirit and for His purpose, everything and all for Him and for His glory! I choose to live fully surrendered to Him, and to share with others all He has done for me. If that impacts even one person to grow in their personal relationship with the Lord- it is all worth it!
Only For His glory-

Devotional Books
These books contain a collection of personal devotions and is the result of a genuine and true heart’s cry to live a life for God’s glory. The intent is to give back to the Lord’s people all He has given me and to encourage others to sit at the Lord’s table, to commune with Him and to build, deepen and strengthen a personal relationship with God.
It all started simply with a desire to dive into the Word in a different way during my personal studies. As the Lord would lead every week, a specific scripture or concept would be the focus of personal study. In the midst of a busy life and fast-paced world—marriage, family, home, ministry work, friends, and a career as a business executive and leader—I needed the Lord’s help in balancing my time with Him. Honestly, I just wanted to slow down, maximize my time, and commune with the Lord and take my time to hear from Him. In addition to my daily morning time with Him, I would take the scripture or concept and write it on a Post-it note. At the time, I was driving an hour to and from my corporate job and would stick the note on the dashboard of my car. It allowed me additional time to meditate, pray, talk to the Lord, and listen to what He wanted to say to me about it. I soon found that the scripture of focus was relevant for sharing with others as the Lord would lead in many of my daily interactions. I started taking pictures of my personal Post-it notes for easy access and reference. My husband started to notice the notes and commented on how much he liked them, which resulted in the request to send them each to him. It wasn’t long after that he encouraged me to start sharing these weekly studies with our church women’s group, which I still teach today. This led to sharing them with believers in the workplace, and only the Lord knows how far they have reached. My prayer each week became “Where do we go in Your Word this week, and what do You want to say to me and to Your people, Lord?”
The recommended approach for this personal study and journey with the Lord is simple:
By design, there is not a specific date assigned to each devotional. The intent is to take the time you need personally for each devotional study and let the Lord speak to you. The Lord may have you spend a day, days, a week, or weeks on one. Let Him lead you, sit at His table and commune with Him.
•Make time and space to commune with our Lord with an open and right heart.
•Explore the Word. Let the Lord guide you to understand the context. Understanding context means to take the time to understand the setting, audience, timeline, circumstances, or idea of what is written. Take the time to read scripture before and after the provided scripture, note the book you are in and where it is located in the Word. Ensure you understand relevance, and concept of the scripture. Cross reference scripture with scripture to gain understanding.
•For quick access, consider taking a snapshot, or copying the highlighted notes of love and truth on each devotional to your own Post-it note, notecard or journal.
•Meditate and pray over it.
•Talk to God about it. Sit at His table. Ask Him three questions:
1. “What do you want to say to me, Lord?”
2. “How is this relevant in my own life, Lord?”
3. “What do You want me to do with this learning, Lord?”
•Consider journaling your thoughts, notes, and responses to each question.
•Once these three questions are answered, you are ready to move on to the next devotional.
